I also read your thread with interest. I'm building a 355 and not a 430, so cant always answer your questions or contribute - which i'm sure is the same for a few people on the site.

The issue of temperature and expansion is a potential problem. However one product i can recomend is:

it sticks fibreglass very well to bare metal.

As for the wheel spacers, - does the extreme 430 use EXACTLY the same track as the original ? Since it may not need such size spacers ?

Wheel bearing - i was also worried about this issue, and i've always asked owners at kit car shows this question and only one person out of many ! had to replace their wheel bearings. Sure it will reduce the life of the bearings, but unless you are doing big mileage dont believe this would become an issue.

Thank you. Tips are very valuable. So do not feel like then after a month or 2 after the construction of repaint and redo again. We have no experience with fiberglass.

hi diesel,
i can explain you how to do or how i do it.,, Tongue

at first you have to sand the inside of the fiberglass and the place on the metal where you wil glue it,then you must clean it with asetone or something you use to clean,use fiberglass paste to gleu the fiberglass on the car,fill up the seams with the rest of the paste,let it dry and then lay a topping of fiberglass over the seams of the fiberglass and the metal,let it go hard and sand it again,the rest you can fill up with fillpaste...(take note,don't use to much hardener in your products, only 2 % !!!)

He was saying something about the mail - that does not work. Maybe you, too, I answer my mail and it does not work? I do not know - please write an answer here.

Hi all. DAVE AINSWORTH of Dampertech said that he sent me a set of suspension. I hope soon to receive and continue to build. Since now it stops the process. I can not imagine how the car will go with spacers of 10 cm in front. I think this is unrealistic. Nothing good.

I will get a kit from Dampertech and will probably lengthen the lower arms and drive shafts. I also plan to move the upper rack mount, support bearing to keep the correct angle of the rack. Today, mounted tires on wheels - to start the count on how many need to increase the track.
